Samsen Public Private Partnership Ribbon Cutting

The SamSen projects at Sampson State Park and Seneca Lake State Park are a public-private partnership agreement between New York State and SamSen LLC, a project of Sessler Development and a division of Sessler.

Sessler, a Waterloo-based family-owned business operated by second and third generation boating and outdoor enthusiasts, formed SamSen in 2018 to develop world-class amenities and Seneca Lake tourism destinations. The entire Sessler family is committed to creating high-quality family-friendly options to benefit visitors to the Finger Lakes region and to support the economic development of Seneca County.

They are proud to fulfill that mission by sharing the SamSen marinas and the Ship Store.

The Sessler family welcomes you to SamSen at Sampson State Park and SamSen at Seneca State Park.

Seneca Lake, the largest and deepest of the Finger Lakes, connects to the sea lanes of the Atlantic Ocean via the St. Lawrence Seaway, Lake Ontario, and New York State’s Erie Canal System. Mariners from around the globe visit the heart of the Finger Lakes by navigating these 200-year-old routes.
